This course is accredited by The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and curriculum has been developed with a purpose of preparing technical workforce in the field of commercial cooking to foster employment in the particular sector. The technical skills incorporated in this curriculum come from the experts who have already worked in the field of continental cooking. Its contents are organized in the form of modules. So it is a tailor made curriculum to be implemented in a modular form. It is a competency based curriculum too. It is also designed to produce basic/entry level technical workforce in the field of cooking equipped with skills, knowledge and attitudes related to commercial cooking/baking in order to meet the demand of such workforce in this field so as to contribute in the sustainable development in Nepal.
This course emphasises on practical learning.
